Driveway Alert systems come in a variety of flavors. We've been in business for a long time and have marketing a variety of them. What we are offering on Drivealert.com are solid choices. All of the driveway alert systems we offer here are wireless driveway alert systems meaning the transmission from the driveway sensor to the driveway chime receiver is wireless. For a PIR or motion based driveway alert, the sensor will detect any movement within the sensor zone. The sensor will then send a driveway sensor alert to the transmitter, typically located in the house or work area. A magnetometer based sysem is slightly different in that the driveway sensor detects only metallic objects. The sensor then sends a driveway alert to the driveway chime within your home or office. |

The WMA-3000 is the next step in the evolution of the driveway alarm/motion alert systems. The transmitter can be mounted easily on a tree or pole near the driveway, and operates on one 9-volt battery. The transmitter uses a passive
infrared (PIR) beam to detect any movement (people, vehicles, etc.) up to a distance of 80 feet. It then sends a radio signal to the receiver (WR-3000) up to
600 feet away (the actual range might vary depending on the nearby terrain).- You may also use additional receivers and sensors with the 3000 series motion alert systems.
- The motion sensor/transmitter is weather proof and meant for outdoor use. With the use of additional transmitters, up to four zones can be monitored simultaneously. The use can also program the
transmitters so they will each sound different tones
at the receiver.
- The plugin receiver in this set is the WR-3000 and plugs into a standard
wall outlet. It may be set to one of four tones (Classical, Westminster
Chime, Ding Dong, or Whistle) and has a volume control as well.
- The WR-3000 is equipped with four form “C” relays (one for each channel) and one 12-volt DC output terminal that will activate for several seconds when a signal is received. The receiver can be user-programmed, so the 12-volt DC terminal and one relay will activate for 10 minutes, if this is desired. The tones will still sound for several seconds.
- Temperature operating range of this product is -30 degrees to 120 degrees fahrenheit

The Driveway Alarm System is magnetometer based wireless driveway alert system which means it detects metallic objects only. Humans, animals, or other things non-metallic objects will not set the transmitter off. The transmitter or sensor, uses a 9-volt battery that is connected with 50 feet of wire to the probe buried in the ground. The sensor's probe should be buried parallel to the detection area (like a driveway) and will then detect cars within 10-12 feet. When a vehicle drives by, the transmitter will send a signal to the WPA-3000 receiver up to 600 feet away. The Dakato Alert 3000 series is the latest technology from Dakota Alert and is not compatable with earlier products.- The plugin receiver in this set is the WR-3000 and plugs into a standard wall outlet and may be set to one of four tones. The wireless sensor will not detect movement by non-metallic objects.
